Where women remember
who they were
Before the world
told us to be quiet
“Your women’s circles make me feel reawakened and alive and connected fully to the magic again.”
- Tanya
An online women's circle, opening later this year
Live circles every month, drum journeys, ceremony and ritual through the Celtic year, and women alongside you the whole way.
Wherever you are in the world.
“Ruth has a knack for knowing how to channel women from the ‘I’m fine’ to ‘Actually this is going on for me today’. She has a way of knowing what to say to keep us within our bodies.

Somatic healing for
women ready to come
home to themselves
I guide women in sacred circles and 1:1 sessions through trauma and ancestral healing, working with drum journeys, sound healing, ritual, and ceremony rooted in Celtic folklore wisdom.
This is about remembering. Your body's wisdom. Your authentic power.
The truth that lives in your bones. And being truly seen and witnessed as you do.

Drum
Circles
Rhythms that awaken what words cannot reach
There's something about rhythm that speaks directly to our cyclical nature as women. The drum bypasses your thinking mind and speaks to your body and what wants to emerge.
Drumming entrains your brainwaves into theta states supporting your nervous system to drop.
When women drum together, we remember we're not machines meant for constant output.
We're cyclical, powerful, wild.
Three monthly circles to choose from
Ruth is great at making you feel welcome as she guides you into the drum circle. You don’t need to be musical to enjoy and benefit from the way the drumming harmonises across the group.
I was apprehensive when I went to my first session but it was a wonderful freeing experience and left me feeling more in touch with myself and my body.
I would recommend everyone giving it a go as Ruth makes it such an enjoyable supportive space. The session in the woodland around the fire is very special.
- ZidaFind your Drum
Many women ask me about finding their own drum. I now have a small selection of vegan shamanic drums and water discs available to try at my home - the same maker as my beloved green drum that's been central to my own healing journey. Learn more about finding your drum →
Bone Deep Circle: The Morrighan
For women who are tired of putting everyone else first.
This autumn, eight women will gather for six Thursday evenings with the Morrighan, starting 5 November. She belongs to the dark half of the year, when we turn inward and the work goes deeper.
She doesn't ask us to be gentle or good. She asks for all the parts of us. Over six weeks we meet some of her aspects, and what each one wakes in you:
The warrior: knowing when to fight and when to let go
The shapeshifter: the parts of you that you were taught to hide
The seer: trusting what you know before you can explain it
The goddess: taking up your space without apologising for it
We come to her through the body, with voice, movement, ritual and ceremony, embodied listening and witnessing, in a circle where all of you is welcome.
Two places left.
From the very first session I felt held, safe and able to explore - in a healthy way - my most deeply held wounds. There were so many discoveries, so much that I’ve taken away with me, that has changed how I see myself, and the world around me.
I am able to better manage my fears and insecurities, and those of others, because I have new resources, new understanding.
- AmySome wounds don't respond to talking alone. They live in the body, in the nervous system, in the patterns passed down through generations.
In our sessions we work with Celtic shamanism, sound healing, somatic practice, IFS parts work, and ancestral healing to reach what words can't. Each session is led by what you bring and what your body is ready for.
Trauma-informed
somatic healing
for women
Women come to this work feeling fragmented, exhausted, disconnected from themselves.
They leave with a relationship to their own body and wisdom they didn't know was possible.
Available face to face in Bristol and online.
Threshold Ceremonies for Women
Bespoke, co-created rite
of passage ceremonies
The body changing, the bleeding slowing. The children grown and gone.
A leaving, a loss, or a freedom you didn't see coming. Something ends, something begins, and you are not quite who you were.
Once these moments were held, with fire and drumming and people who stayed to witness you cross.
A threshold ceremony gives that back. A bespoke day, co-created with you, where your own people gather to witness you step from one life into the next.
“Witnessing the women dancing at the ceremony with their drum and bells, removing their shoes to dance barefoot together was beautiful.
We were all so wild and free. My heart was bursting. Where else in our modern society can women be free like that?
It's beautiful to see women singing, and using their voices too. It's amazing how quickly they sense the energy of the safe space - you can see those barriers lowering, masks being cast aside to reveal the true wild woman within.”
